Mini-Tatin Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 small red apples, pared and cored
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 sheet ready-made puff pastry, thawed

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a heavy skillet, melt butter and brown sugar together. Cook over low heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved and mixture is bubbling.
  3. Add apples and cook over medium heat until lightly browned (about 10-15 minutes). Remove skillet from heat and let cool slightly.

  7. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
