Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed

  • 1 1/2 pounds Mirabelle plums, pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, 1/4 cup sugar, and salt. Add the cubed butter and mix with a pastry cutter or your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
