Mor Monsen – Regal Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram of fresh cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of white wine
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Take a baking dish and put the cod fillets with the skin side down.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Add chopped onions and garlic, and cook them until they are soft.
  5. Add paprika, salt and parsley and mix everything.
  6. Add water and white wine and let everything simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Add heavy cream and flour, mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  8. Pour the sauce over the fish fillets.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
  10. Serve hot with some boiled vegetables and mashed potatoes.
