Mor Monsen – Regal Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kilogram of fresh cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic chopped
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of white wine
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Take a baking dish and put the cod fillets with the skin side down.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and garlic, and cook them until they are soft.
- Add paprika, salt and parsley and mix everything.
- Add water and white wine and let everything simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and flour, mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the fish fillets.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
- Serve hot with some boiled vegetables and mashed potatoes.
