Ingredients

  • 8 sea bream fillets
  • 200g green beans, trimmed and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 rice paper sheets
  • Water for soaking the rice paper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/395°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, honey, and vegetable oil. Set aside.
  3. In another small bowl, mix together the cornflour and sesame seeds.
  4. Season the sea bream fillets with salt and pepper and coat them with the cornflour and sesame seeds mixture.
  5. Place the sea bream fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. In a pan over medium-high heat, stir fry the green beans for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Soak the rice paper sheets in water for 5-10 seconds until they become soft and pliable.
  8. Place each sea bream fillet and some green beans on a rice paper sheet and roll up tightly, tucking the sides in as you go so the filling doesn’t leak out.
  9. Repeat with the remaining sea bream fillets and green beans.
  10. Serve the no nems with the soy sauce mixture as a dipping sauce.
