Nutella Ice Cream
Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, Nutella and salt over medium heat.
- Continue whisking until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Do not boil.
- Remove the mixture from heat and add in vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a large bowl and let it cool to room temperature.
- Chill the mixture for at least 3-4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until the ice cream is thick and creamy.
- Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
