Nutella Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, Nutella and salt over medium heat.
  2. Continue whisking until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Do not boil.
  3. Remove the mixture from heat and add in vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into a large bowl and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. Chill the mixture for at least 3-4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
  6. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until the ice cream is thick and creamy.
  7. Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
