Greek Octopus Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 large octopus, cleaned and tentacles separated
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Place the octopus in a large pot and cover with water.

- Remove from heat and drain.
- Season the octopus with salt and pepper on both sides.

- Cover the skillet with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 60-75 minutes.
- Remove from oven, remove aluminum foil, and spoon some of the sauce over the octopus.
- Place in oven uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes to brown the octopus.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
