Pear and Hazelnut Crumble
Ingredients:
- 4 large pears, peeled and sliced thinly
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts, chopped
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the sliced pears in a 9-inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, oats, hazelnuts, cinnamon and salt.
- Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, mix in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the pears.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
A delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the sweetness of pears with the nutty flavor of hazelnuts. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream as a perfect ending to any meal.
