Pear and Hazelnut Crumble

Ingredients:

  • 4 large pears, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into small cubes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the sliced pears in a 9-inch baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, oats, hazelnuts, cinnamon and salt.
  4. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, mix in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the pears.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
