Pear Tiramisu: Gourmet Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 5 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package ladyfingers (24 count)
  • 1 cup strong black coffee
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, for dusting

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in Mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  2. Dip each ladyfinger in the black coffee, making sure it is completely soaked but not falling apart. Arrange a single layer of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a square glass dish.
  3. Arrange a single layer of sliced pears on top of the soaked ladyfingers.
  4. Add one-third of the Mascarpone cream mixture and spread it evenly over the pears.
  5. Repeat the layers of soaked ladyfingers, sliced pears and Mascarpone cream mixture until the dish is full. Finish off with a layer of Mascarpone cream on the top.
  6. Dust the top layer of the tiramisu with cocoa powder just before serving.
