Pears Stuffed with Almonds Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe pears
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F (190° C).
  2. Wash the pears and cut off the top, about 1/3 of the way down. Using a spoon or a melon baller, scoop out the core and seeds.
  3. Combine the chopped almonds, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Mix well.
  4. Fill each pear with the almond mixture and pack it in tightly.
  5. Brush the melted butter over the top of each pear. Drizzle with honey.
  6. Place the pears in a baking dish, standing upright. Pour a little water into the dish.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the pears are tender and browned on top.
