Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-sized heirloom tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 lemons, sliced into thin rounds
  • 4 cups mixed greens
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a plancha or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Use the mixture to brush over the cut side of the tomatoes.
