Plum Crumble Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 cups sliced plums (about 1 kg)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- For the crumble topping:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C. Grease a 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, toss together sliced plums, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add cold butter and use a fork or pastry cutter to cut into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the plums.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown and the plums are bubbling. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serving suggestions:
