Plum crumble – Delicious


Plum Crumble Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups sliced plums (about 1 kg)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • For the crumble topping:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C. Grease a 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, toss together sliced plums, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add cold butter and use a fork or pastry cutter to cut into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the plums.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown and the plums are bubbling. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serving suggestions:

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Enjoy the sweet and tangy flavors of the plums combined with the buttery crumble topping.
