Pork Spring Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 oz ground pork
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup grated carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
- 8-10 spring roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add ground pork, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Add soy sauce and cornstarch to the pork mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Add grated carrots and chopped cabbage to the pork mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Lay out a spring roll wrapper on a flat surface. Add a few tablespoons of pork filling in the center of the wrapper.
- Roll the wrapper tightly around the filling, folding in the sides as you go.
- Repeat until all the pork filling is used up.
- In a frying pan, heat up oil over medium-high heat.
- Fry the spring rolls until they are golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove spring rolls from the frying pan and place them on a paper towel lined plate to drain the excess oil.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
