Praline-Caramel Log

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups finely chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.

  7. Pour the mixture onto the parchment paper. Spread it around evenly until it forms a log-like shape and let it cool completely.
  8. Once it’s cool, lift the parchment paper to remove the log and cut it into slices.
