Praline Panini Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a panini press or a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, chopped pecans, vanilla extract and salt until combined.
  3. Spread a thin layer of unsalted butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Flip over two slices of bread, butter side down.
  5. Spread the brown sugar and pecan mixture evenly on top of the two slices of bread.
  6. Top the mixture with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
  7. Place the sandwich into the panini press or skillet and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.
