Roasted Figs – Treat Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 fresh figs
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash and dry the figs. Cut off the stem and cut a small cross at the top of each fig.
- Mix the honey, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
- Place the figs in a baking dish and drizzle the honey mixture over them, making sure each fig is coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the figs are soft and lightly caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
