Roasted Figs – Treat Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh figs
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and dry the figs. Cut off the stem and cut a small cross at the top of each fig.
  3. Mix the honey, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Place the figs in a baking dish and drizzle the honey mixture over them, making sure each fig is coated.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the figs are soft and lightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
