Rose Meringue Sticks Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 3/4 cup superfine sugar
  • 2 teaspoons rose water
  • Pink food coloring
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°F (95°C), and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Add the cream of tartar and continue to beat on high speed until soft peaks form.
  3. Slowly add the sugar while continuing to beat on high speed until stiff peaks form.
  4. Add the rose water, vanilla extract, and pink food coloring. Beat on low speed until combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag with a star tip.
  6. Pipe the mixture in long sticks on the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 2 hours or until the meringue sticks are dry and crisp.
  8. Remove from the oven and let them cool completely before serving.
