Small Chocolate Fries Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Confectioners’ sugar for dusting
Directions:
- Combine the flour, cocoa, sugar, and salt in a bowl and mix well.
- Whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until the batter is smooth.
- Heat about an inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Drop batter by small spoonfuls into the hot oil.
- Fry until the fries are browned and crispy, turning them occasionally for an even fry.
- Drain the fries on paper towels to soak up the excess oil.
- Dust the fries with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
