- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground gingerbread spices (cinnamon, ginger, allspice, nutmeg)
- 1/2 cup beer
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
Instructions:

- In a pan, cook beef over medium heat until browned on all sides. Add onions, garlic, and gingerbread spices, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add beer to the pan, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, until the liquid has reduced and the mixture is thickened.
- Cut the puff pastry into small circles, and place them in a muffin tin. Fill each pastry shell with the beef mixture, and brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
