Spinach Patties Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of spinach leaves, chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic with olive oil until translucent.
  2. Add the chopped spinach leaves and sauté until the leaves wilt.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the spinach mixture with grated cheese, breadcrumbs, flour, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of mixture and shape into a patty.
  6. Place the patties into the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the cooked spinach patties to a serving plate and serve hot.
