Spinach Patties Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of spinach leaves, chopped finely
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic with olive oil until translucent.
- Add the chopped spinach leaves and sauté until the leaves wilt.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the spinach mixture with grated cheese, breadcrumbs, flour, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of mixture and shape into a patty.
- Place the patties into the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown.
- Transfer the cooked spinach patties to a serving plate and serve hot.
