Sponge Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

  8. Gently add the egg whites to the batter. Fold until fully combined. Do not overmix.
  9. Pour the cake batter into a lined cake tin.
  10. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the cake.
  11. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature before serving.
