Spritz Cake- Bredele Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- chopped pecans or colorful sprinkles for decoration
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, then beat in the egg yolks, vanilla, and salt.
- Gradually mix in the flour, alternating with the milk. When fully incorporated, spoon the mixture into a cookie press fitted with a disk plate of your choice.
- Carefully press cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top each cookie with chopped pecans or sprinkles.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the cookies are just beginning to brown on the edges.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
