Swirl Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2-3 different food coloring
Instructions:

- Divide each colored dough in half and roll them out into 1/4 inch thick rectangles.
- Place one layer of cookie dough onto the other (make sure the colors alternate) and roll the dough into a tight log.
- Wrap the dough log in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes in the fridge.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the cookie dough from the fridge and slice them into 1/4 inch thick slices.
- Place the cookies onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden on the edges.
- Remove from the oven and transfer the cookies to a cooling rack to cool down completely.
