Tandoori Turkey Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped mint
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp. grated ginger
  • 1 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, cilantro, mint, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, paprika, garam masala, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Mix well and form into 1-1/2 inch balls.
  4. Place the meatballs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through and lightly browned.
  5. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt and lemon juice.
  6. Serve the meatballs with the yogurt sauce on the side.
