Tigernut Flour Flan Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup tigernut flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C) and grease six small flan dishes or ramekins with butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt together until well combined.
- Add the tigernut flour and whisk until smooth.
- Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly, until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined.
- Divide the mixture evenly among the prepared flan dishes or ramekins.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the flans are set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
- If desired, spoon a little caramel sauce over the top of each flan before serving.
