Traditional lobster pasta

Traditional Lobster Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 1 lb linguine pasta
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the chopped lobster meat and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Pour in the white wine and cook for 2-3 minutes until it has reduced by half.
  5. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the lobster and sauce. Toss everything together until well coated, adding more heavy cream if needed to thin out the sauce.
  7. Stir in the butter until it has melted and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
