Turrón Creams Recipe
Ingredients:
- 400g turrón (Spanish nougat)
- 500ml heavy cream
- 3 egg yolks
- 30g sugar
Directions:
- Finely chop the turrón into small pieces and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until well combined.
- Slowly pour the hot cream into the egg mixture, whisking constantly to avoid curdling the eggs.
- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped turrón until it is fully incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into serveware and refrigerate until set, at least two hours.
