Turrón Creams Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 400g turrón (Spanish nougat)
  • 500ml heavy cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 30g sugar

Directions:

  1. Finely chop the turrón into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until well combined.
  4. Slowly pour the hot cream into the egg mixture, whisking constantly to avoid curdling the eggs.
  5. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped turrón until it is fully incorporated.
  7. Pour the mixture into serveware and refrigerate until set, at least two hours.
