Vacherin Cloud Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Fresh fruits (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F/150°C.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  3. Add granulated sugar to the egg whites a little bit at a time while continuing to beat the mixture until it becomes thick and glossy.

  8. In a separate mixing bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until it forms soft peaks.
  9. Pour the whipped cream over the center of the cooled vacherin cloud and spread it out to the edges.
  10. Slice fresh fruits of your choice into small pieces and place on top of the whipped cream.
  11. Garnish with powdered sugar and serve.
