Ingredients

  • 2 nectarines, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 sheets of parchment paper (12×16 inches each)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lay out four sheets of parchment paper (12×16 inches each).
  3. Divide the nectarine slices equally among the four sheets of parchment paper.
  4. Sprinkle each with 1/4 tablespoon of granulated sugar.
  5. Drizzle each with 1/4 tablespoon melted butter.
  6. Add 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla extract to each pouch.
  7. Seal each parchment paper, making sure it’s tightly secured to prevent any steam from escaping during baking.
  8. Place the papillotes on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the nectarines are tender and cooked through.
