Delicious Walnut Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F/180°C and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, while continuing to mix the batter.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract.

  7. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  8. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and smooth the top.
  9. Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
