Waterzoi Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken
- 2 leeks, sliced
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cup of cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large pot, add the chicken, leeks, carrots, onion, celery, bay leaf, thyme, and enough water to cover the chicken.
