Winter Fruits, Lime-Apricot Vanilla Juice Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 apricots
- 2 oranges
- 1 Meyer lemon
- 2 limes
- 1 vanilla bean (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
- 2 cups cold water
Instructions:
- Cut the apricots in half and remove the pits. Peel the oranges and lemon, removing the white pith.
- Juice the apricots, oranges, lemon and limes with a juicer or blender.
- Slice the vanilla bean pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
- Add the vanilla seeds to the juice mixture and stir well.
- If desired, add a teaspoon of honey to sweeten the juice.
- Add the cold water and stir until well combined.
- Refrigerate the juice for about an hour before serving.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve this refreshing juice chilled with a few ice cubes and garnish with a slice of lime or fresh mint leaves. This juice is perfect for breakfast or as a midday refreshment. It’s also great for entertaining guests during the winter season.
