Wok’n Roll Treat

Ingredients:

  • 200g cooked noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 150g chicken breast, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and onion and stir-fry for 2 minutes, until the onion is soft.
  3. Add chicken and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Add the shredded carrots and cabbage and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until the veggies are tender.
  5. Combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar and red chili flakes in a bowl.
  6. Add the sauce mixture to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, until everything is well combined and heated through.
  7. Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until well combined.
  8. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
