Ingredients

  • 500g plain Greek yoghurt
  • 1 can of tuna in olive oil
  • 1-2 Tbsp capers
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Drain the can of tuna and reserve the olive oil in a small bowl. Flake the tuna into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, combine the capers, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.
  3. Whisk the Greek yoghurt until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Fold in the caper mixture and the reserved olive oil from the tuna. Mix well.
  4. Finally, add the flaked tuna and mix gently. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Chill the Yoghurtello Tonnato in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve chilled.
