Almond Tart with Raspberries

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of ground almonds
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of fresh raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons of slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon of confectioner’s sugar for dusting

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, ground almonds, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.

  12. Remove the tart from the oven, and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.
  13. Dust the top with confectioner’s sugar before serving.
