Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 large carrots, chopped
  • 2 large potatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
