Blueberry Meringues – Delicious

Ingredients:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 225°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix the egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until foamy.
  3. Add the sugar gradually and keep whisking until stiff peaks form and the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries and vanilla extract.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a piping bag and pipe meringues onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the meringues are crispy on the outside and dry on the inside.
  7. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
