Chestnut Cake with Coffee Glaze

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chestnut puree
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 stick of butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chestnut puree, milk, flour, eggs, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well-combined and smooth in texture.
  3. Add softened butter and mix until incorporated.
  4. Lightly grease a 9-inch cake pan, pour the batter into the pan.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
