Cranachan – Regal Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of raspberry puree
  • 1/2 cup of double cream
  • 1/2 cup of whisky
  • 1/2 cup of fresh raspberries

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Spread the oats out on a baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  3. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the double cream and honey until thickened.
  4. Add the whisky to the raspberry puree and give it a stir.
  5. In each glass, layer the toasted oats, the raspberry puree mixture and the honey cream until you have used all the ingredients.
  6. Top each glass with fresh raspberries and serve immediately.
