Cranachan – Regal Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup of raspberry puree
- 1/2 cup of double cream
- 1/2 cup of whisky
- 1/2 cup of fresh raspberries
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Spread the oats out on a baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
- In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the double cream and honey until thickened.
- Add the whisky to the raspberry puree and give it a stir.
- In each glass, layer the toasted oats, the raspberry puree mixture and the honey cream until you have used all the ingredients.
- Top each glass with fresh raspberries and serve immediately.
