Crispy Andouillette Tart Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ready-made pie crust
  • 2 andouillette sausages, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Poke some holes in the bottom of the pie crust using a fork. Bake it for 10 minutes until the pie crust feels crispy and golden.
  3. While the pie crust is baking, heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Add sliced onions and cook them until they become soft and golden in color. Add sliced andouillette sausages and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are crispy.

  6. Lower the oven temperature to 350°F (180°C) and bake the tart for another 30-35 minutes until the top becomes golden brown and the filling is set.
  7. Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing it into pieces and serving.
