Crispy Onion Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the buttermilk into another bowl.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat.
