French Toast Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 8 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Maple syrup or powdered sugar for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract and salt.
  2. Dip a slice of bread into the mixture, make sure both sides are coated evenly with the mixture.
  3. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the bread slice to the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, for about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 with the remaining bread slices.
  6. Serve the French toast with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
