Fruit and Chocolate Nougat
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of honey
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of corn syrup
- 1/4 cup of water
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of chopped mixed dried fruit (apricots, cranberries, figs, and cherries)
- 1/2 cup of chopped dark chocolate
Instructions:
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form.

- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Let the nougat cool completely before removing it from the pan. Cut it into bite-sized squares or bars.
