Ingredients:

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F.
  2. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Wrap the ribs in foil, followed by another layer of foil, making sure to seal tightly.
  4. Bake the ribs in the oven for 2-2.5 hours until tender, then remove from the oven and let rest.
  5. While the ribs are cooking, make the BBQ sauce by combining the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  7. Unwrap the ribs and brush the BBQ sauce generously over both sides of the ribs.
  8. Heat up the grill to high heat, then grill the ribs for 5-7 minutes on each side, brushing with more BBQ sauce as needed until nicely charred and glazed.
  9. Remove the ribs from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
