Guacamole Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced tomato
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove pits. Scoop the flesh into a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork or potato masher until they are slightly chunky.
  3. Add the red onion, tomato, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, garlic, and salt to the bowl.
  4. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
