Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla extract. Beat well after each addition.
  5. Add half of the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Mix in the whole milk and sour cream.
  7. Add the remaining flour mixture and mix until just combined.

  12. In a large mixing bowl, beat together heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  13. Scoop the whipped cream on top of the first layer of the cake.
  14. Arrange the mixed exotic fruits on top of the whipped cream.
  15. Place the second layer of the cake on top of the fruits.
  16. Repeat step 12 and 13 until all of the fruit and whipped cream have been used.
  17. Once the top layer of fruit and whipped cream is added, sprinkle with additional fruit for decoration.
  18. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
