Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of heavy cream
  • 0.5 cups of whole milk
  • 0.25 cups of granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons of powdered gelatin

  • 12 apricots, pitted and thinly sliced

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the panna cotta by mixing the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract in a large saucepan and placing it over medium heat. Stir the mixture until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. In a separate bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 2 tablespoons of cold water and let it sit until the gelatin has absorbed all the water.
  3. Once the gelatin has been absorbed, add it to the saucepan and stir the mixture until the gelatin has dissolved.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.

  8. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the compote cool.
