Pear and Fourme de Montbrison Tart Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 2 ripe pears, peeled and thinly sliced
- 150g Fourme de Montbrison cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon of water)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C/400°F.
- Roll out your puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface and place it onto a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix the sliced pears with the honey, balsamic vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the crumbled Fourme de Montbrison cheese on top of the puff pastry.
- Arrange the pear slices on top of the cheese.
- Brush the edges of the tart with the egg wash.
- Bake the tart for 20-25 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
Serving Suggestions
