Pear and Fourme de Montbrison Tart Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 ripe pears, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 150g Fourme de Montbrison cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon of water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C/400°F.
  2. Roll out your puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface and place it onto a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sliced pears with the honey, balsamic vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled Fourme de Montbrison cheese on top of the puff pastry.
  5. Arrange the pear slices on top of the cheese.
  6. Brush the edges of the tart with the egg wash.
  7. Bake the tart for 20-25 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
