Plum Clafoutis Recipe: Easy Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 4 large plums, pitted and cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Butter for greasing the baking dish
  • Powdered sugar for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 10-inch pie dish or cast-iron skillet with butter.
  2. Arrange the plum wedges on the bottom of the dish in a single layer.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and whisk together.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, beat eggs until frothy.
  5. Add milk and vanilla extract to eggs and mix well.
  6. Gradually whisk the flour mixture into the egg mixture until the batter is smooth.
  7. Pour the clafoutis batter evenly over the plums.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the clafoutis is set and golden brown on top.
  9. Let the dessert cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Dust the baked clafoutis with powdered sugar to serve.
