Hybrid Puff Pastry Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of pre-made puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup of Nutella
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unroll your puff pastry onto a floured surface and cut it into 4 even squares.
  3. Mash your banana in a bowl until it’s a smooth consistency.
  4. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of Nutella into the center of each puff pastry square.
  5. Top the Nutella with a spoonful of the mashed banana.
  6. Fold the puff pastry over to create a triangle and press the edges together with a fork to seal the filling inside.
  7. Place your pastry triangles on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and sprinkle the powdered sugar over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they have turned golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve these delicious hybrid puff pastries warm or at room temperature with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a decadent dessert. They’re also great as a snack or breakfast treat, paired with a hot cup of coffee or tea. Enjoy!
