Rouroute Sweets Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp ghee

Instructions:

  1. Take a pan and roast the grated coconut for 5 minutes on low heat.
  2. Add rice flour to the pan and roast for another 3-4 minutes.
  3. Mix jaggery and water in a separate pan and let it melt on low heat.
  4. Add the melted jaggery to the pan with roasted coconut and rice flour. Mix well.
  5. Cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes sticky. Add cardamom powder and ghee. Mix well.
  6. Grease a plate with ghee and pour the mixture onto it. Spread it evenly and let it cool down.
  7. Cut the mixture into diamond-shaped pieces and serve.
