Rouroute Sweets Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups grated coconut
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup jaggery
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp ghee
Instructions:
- Take a pan and roast the grated coconut for 5 minutes on low heat.
- Add rice flour to the pan and roast for another 3-4 minutes.
- Mix jaggery and water in a separate pan and let it melt on low heat.
- Add the melted jaggery to the pan with roasted coconut and rice flour. Mix well.
- Cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes sticky. Add cardamom powder and ghee. Mix well.
- Grease a plate with ghee and pour the mixture onto it. Spread it evenly and let it cool down.
- Cut the mixture into diamond-shaped pieces and serve.
